Occasional views of the peaks give way to a narrower valley. We then proceed through Rhododendron forest and eventually reach to Ghorepani. The south trail goes to Ghandrung, you have to take the eastern one for Chomrong. From here, the way goes down through dense forest to Gurajon village that lies just after the suspension bridge. Then onwards, no more ups & downs till Chomrong village. Pass through endless rhododendron forest and into farmland where the impressive terraced fields are a sight to behold. Continue upwards past waterfalls and bridges before arriving to Chhomrong.

Wake early enough to catch the sunrise over the Annapurnas before the trek begins today. The Fishtail is now clearly two-summited and its name thus obvious as we descend initially to cross into the upper reaches of the Modi Khola and steadily up to an area simply known as Himalayan. There are more suspension bridges and rhododendron forests on the trek today, as well as villages and teahouses.
