On March 15, 2023, tourist visas to China, which have been suspended for 3 years, will begin to accept applications from foreign tourists; this means that international tourism, which has been suspended for 3 years due to the new crown epidemic, will start to resume;

    Hello. If i visit to Chengdu and some areas of Tibetan plateau, must have a special permission? Purpose is just sightseeing and traveling.

      Foreigners need to obtain a travel permit to visit the Tibet Autonomous Region.

      However, foreigners do not need a travel permit to visit other Tibetan areas such as the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan or the Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture.
