Kangding heavy snow has caused roadblock in between Xinduqiao and Kangding. It began from 24th Apr that it snows a little, it did not stop, and it is getting heavier. Till last night, the Mount Dzatuo has been blocked by the snow, more than 200 people are trapped by the snow, or have to stay in Xinduqiao.
Local authority has activated the urgent rescue plan, more than 100 police and 20 vehicles have been sent to Mount Dzetuo in order to provide emergency medical aid and providing hot food and beverage for those whom are trapped passengers, drivers;
There are two roads connect Kangding and Tagong, one of those is Kangding / Zonglu road, which has been implemented traffic control; Another road is Kangding /Mount Dzetuo/Tagong, which is partly used for those of which are capable to be driven on snow road, such as 4 wheel drive;
According to local weather forecast department that the snow will stop on 29th Apr, temperature will return to 5-10 degrees from current -4 to -10 degrees. The trapped passenger are hope to be back on their way of journey safely after Apr 29th
