Tibet Trek is not easy, however, some of the treks are fun. The treks occur at elevations between 3000 meters to even 6000 meters. People with diabetes, asthma, or high blood pressure can successfully trek in Tibet, but should check with a doctor about potential problems and precautions.

It is advisable to have a dental checkup before you set off. The dental facility in Tibet are now available in Lhasa , Gyantse, Shigatse, Tsetang, Nyingchi, and Ali.

The treks in the west Tibet are the most strenuous; it requires certain physical condition.

The treks in the east Tibet of Kham and Amdo are mostly in the altitude range of 3000 – 5100 meters, it is more friendly for people to acclimatizing to it, and some of the treks are even family suitable
