The travel on the northern Sichuan-Tibet road in the east Tibet of Kham will encounter another traffic issue.

According to Kanze Tibet Prefecture Traffic authority that the period from 2016 May 16^th to 2016 October 10 31^st, the road between Bamei (K0+000) to Tagong town (K28+400) will be rebuilt. The traffic on this part of road will be under control.

08:00am to 12:00 at noon; 13:00 to 18:00 is the time that the road is closed for rebuilding; from 12:00pm to 13:00pm, the Bus and small size vehicle is permitted to drive throgh; from 18:00pm to the next 08:00am, all type of vehilce is permitted to drive on the road;

Sera monastery is also called “Tibet Wild Rose Park”. It is the 2^nd largest monastery of Tibet. It is one the Three Major monastery of Lhasa. The other two are Drepung monastery and Ganden monastery.

Sera monastery was built in 1419. The monks and lamas of Sera monastery practise their study of Tibetan Buddhism by debating in the afternoon from Monday to Saturday. Sera’s Top treasure is Hayagriva Buddha Thangka

Lhasa river in Tibetan is “Gyi – Chu’ means “Happiness River”. Located in the Middle South Tibet, source from Luophu Ru La Pass that is in the north of the middle Nian-Qin Tang Gu La mountain. Flowing along the way of Mo Zu Gang Kar, and Da Zi county, joining into Yar Lun Tsan Po river in the southern suburbs of Lhasa city. Lhasa River is one of the 5 biggest branches.

“A Li” also “Ali”, it is pronunciation of Tibetan language, it means territory, possession, landgrave, princedom. This land was called “Xiang Xiong” till 9^{th century.}

In chinese history book, its name was different in different dynasty. In Tibetan history book record, this land surrender to Tu Po Kingdom ever since the descendant of Zan Pu king of Tu Po kingdom came to this land which was originated belongs to Xiang Xiong 18 political regions

According to Reuters reports on December 9^th, the US fast-food giant KFC has decided to open its 1^st restaurant in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region in January 2016.

KFC’s parent company recently declared 2016 KFC restaurant will be opened in Lhasa. The restaurant is about 540 square meters, is currently being renovated.

2016 Saga Dawa festival date is on 2016 May 21^st, the ritual of cutting and replacing the new Flag Pole will be held at Tarpoche of Kailash mountain. There will be other ceremony being held in Lhasa, Shigartse and Gyantse…etc
