Dried Yak Meat
Each winter, Tibetan family begin to make the traditional Tibetan local flavour food, the Dried Yak Meat; Butcher shops and some of families even built ventilated room to produce dried meat. Each rope covered with strips of beef. In winter, the dry and cold wind blow-dry the yak meat, which is one of the best food that Tibetan family host guests visitors.
Traffic control between Bamei and Tagong
The travel on the northern Sichuan-Tibet road in the east Tibet of Kham will encounter another traffic issue.
According to Kanze Tibet Prefecture Traffic authority that the period from 2016 May 16th to 2016 October 10 31st, the road between Bamei (K0+000) to Tagong town (K28+400) will be rebuilt. The traffic on this part of road will be under control.
08:00am to 12:00 at noon; 13:00 to 18:00 is the time that the road is closed for rebuilding; from 12:00pm to 13:00pm, the Bus and small size vehicle is permitted to drive throgh; from 18:00pm to the next 08:00am, all type of vehilce is permitted to drive on the road;

Sera monastery – Tibet Wild Rose Park
Sera monastery is also called “Tibet Wild Rose Park”. It is the 2nd largest monastery of Tibet. It is one the Three Major monastery of Lhasa. The other two are Drepung monastery and Ganden monastery.
Sera monastery was built in 1419. The monks and lamas of Sera monastery practise their study of Tibetan Buddhism by debating in the afternoon from Monday to Saturday. Sera’s Top treasure is Hayagriva Buddha Thangka
Lhasa River
Lhasa river in Tibetan is “Gyi – Chu’ means “Happiness River”. Located in the Middle South Tibet, source from Luophu Ru La Pass that is in the north of the middle Nian-Qin Tang Gu La mountain. Flowing along the way of Mo Zu Gang Kar, and Da Zi county, joining into Yar Lun Tsan Po river in the southern suburbs of Lhasa city. Lhasa River is one of the 5 biggest branches.
