Trek Grades is what for you to determine whether one trek fits your physical condition. The trek in Tibet is like to travel through No man’s land which you have to take everything, including your “home” the tent, cookers, food…etc. It requires a certain level of physical condition in order to making such trip by foot. You may not be able to carry all by yourself, so you gonna need animals like horse and yaks to carry heavy stuff. Hence you could really enjoy the trek while the heavy items are carried by horse or yak. Treks with Grade - 1 is usually a short and easy trek with wonderful experiences. For visitors with no previous experience, we offer a diverse range of easy Grade 1 treks. "Easy", it means that the trek involves no difficult climbing or ascents to high altitudes, takes usually no more than 3 days, and is suitable for almost anyone. The Kangding Trek follow well-trodden trails. The camp along the trail is with gorgeous nature view. Of course, this trek is popular for good reason, and you will find the terrain and views among the most superb in Kham
Trek Grades - 2
Grade 2 treks are more challenging than Grade 1, and are suitable for any walker looking for something a little more energetic. They are longer (3-5days), involve more walking up and down and climb to higher altitudes, where you will be rewarded with close-up views of big mountains. The altitude that this trek usually happens in between 3,600 – 4,800m Derge trek, which offers you close to glaciers and affords spectacular mountain views. This trek can be done in 4 days , or 7 days for a complete trek strating from Derge county and ends at Manigango For a higher altitude experience in this grade of trek: The Trek from Ganden to Samye would be recommended
Trek Grades - 3
Grade 3 treks should only be undertaken by those with some previous mountain walking experience. They ascend to altitudes of up to 5300m and involve some steep climbing, although it is never necessary to use ropes. Treks at this level can he arranged for periods of 6-12 days. For a popular and spectacular trek, Mt Gongga Trek is a good choice. A gradual ascent through a green river valley will lead you up to a number of high passes, where you will reach the altitude of 5300m. This trek will give you a close insight into Tibetan culture. Another understandably popular trek is the Tingri to Everest Trek. On this trek you’ll cross a glacier, see Mt Everest and a whole variety of soaring peaks and experience the rich Tibetan culture. For an exotic adventure in wild and restricted areas, that see less than 300 visitors per year, The trek in Nepal in Mustang or to Makalu Base Camp would be your choice. The Makalu trek traverses many high passes before reaching the Base Camp at 5000m. This trek requires camping, which was opened to trekkers ever since in 1991, the plateau of Mustang is a wild, treeless desert. The remote Mustang trek also requires camping.
Trek Grades - 4
This type of trek can last from 5 days to 15 days. All are camping expeditions. The Trek to Indus River Source is very remote with a truly undeveloped culture. This can be accomplished in a shorter time 8.5 days. However, you can also use the Darchen as the starting point for a Cora trek of Mount Kailash (3 days).
