The Journey to the tribes of Khampa Tibetan — Manijiaguo – a hidden small village close to Lhagang has one such large mani pile, which can be thought to be the largest one in the eastern Tibet of Kham;  we continuly move to the next stop of Bamei, a beautiful Tibetan town, 30 km west from Lhagang,

Kham Eastern Tibet (Part I)

The trip of Kham Eastern Tibet starts from Chengdu — A drive of 6 or 7 hours from Chengdu or 45 minutes flying from Chengdu, you will be reaching at Kangding, the gateway of going onto Tibetan plateau; the modern transportation has “shorten” the distance between the remote area and the modern cities nowadays;

our visit to one of the Tibetan Tribes begins at Kangding;

Tibetan Village

A Tibetan village is seated near the pass of Mt. Dzetuo (4350m), it is about 40km west from Kangding, nearly 2 hours driv for reaching at this pass;

Kham Eastern Tibet

By following the curved road, you will be reaching at a remote small town – called: xinduqiao, where you will be able to witness the Tibetan horse rider… you are in the Snowland area now;

The youngest visitor to Kham

Alexia, an such adorable 2 year little French girl has become the youngest visitor to Lhagang monastery, as well as the Kangding, Bamei, Danba…etc, she is now standing outside of Lhagang monastery enoying sunlight of high pleteau, and curisely observing such a fresh world, Welcome – our dear little french friend- Alexia
